What you'll do

• Review menus and prepare meals according to planned menus, physician-ordered diets, and portion procedures
• prepare snacks and substitute foods
• inspect special diet trays
• follow recipes
• maintain food and supply inventory
• deliver food carts and trays
• clear tables and wash and sanitize dishes
• maintain a clean work area
• complete required forms and reports
• coordinate dietary service with other departments
• and supervise dietary aides in the Dietary Manager's absence.
