Medication Technician – MAP Certified (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Job overview

The Medication Technician – MAP Certified role is onsite in North Dartmouth, MA. Pay is $25 per hour. Correctional Psychiatric Services provides medical and behavioral health services to communities and correctional facilities. The technician administers medications according to existing patient-specific prescriptions, maintains medication-cart cleanliness and stock, and removes expired or discontinued medications. The role also completes required training, follows emergency procedures and facility policies, and complies with security rules.

What you'll do

• Administer medications pursuant to existing patient-specific prescriptions
• complete CPS training and demonstrate competence in medication administration and emergency procedures
• maintain medication-cart cleanliness and supplies
• remove expired and stop-date medications
• follow BCSO policies and security rules
• perform other duties as required. The role does not include administering MOUD medication.
