Mechanical Assembler — Second Shift

The Mechanical Assembler role is onsite in Shakopee, MN. Compensation is stated as $18+ per hour, with a 15% second-shift differential. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 2:30 PM–1:00 AM, with overtime as needed. KEB America develops mechanical and electronic solutions for drive and automation systems. The assembler builds mechanical assemblies and subassemblies for clutch, brake, and gearmotor product lines. The role supports production by following work instructions and blueprints, operating equipment, performing tests, and completing assembly and packaging tasks while following safety requirements.

What you'll do

• Read blueprints and setup sheets
• pick hardware
• assemble and install parts into subassemblies and final assemblies
• operate machines, testers, and cranes
• mount materials
• install connectors and wire guides
• prepare epoxy
• cut parts
• solder and paint
• perform cycle counts, testing, and packaging
• assist other departments as needed.
