The WIC Registered Dietitian role is onsite at the Covington, LA clinic, with compensation of $18.27–$27.41 per hour. The dietitian assesses participants’ nutritional status and needs, conducts screenings, and provides age-appropriate education. The role also coordinates care for medically fragile patients and documents services to support continuity of care and program requirements.

What you'll do

• Assess BMI and nutritional status and identify nutritional needs
• evaluate tolerance for prescribed diets
• conduct healthcare screenings and assessments
• coordinate care with other medical providers for medically fragile patients
• provide age-appropriate education and instruction
• enter participant services into the Electronic Health Record promptly
• support monitoring of program compliance, quality assurance, and accreditation requirements.
