What you'll do

• Assess patients before anesthesia and review medical histories, medications, laboratory results, and diagnostic information
• develop and implement anesthesia plans
• administer general anesthesia, monitored anesthesia care, and other appropriate techniques
• manage airways and monitor patients
• respond to changes and emergencies
• coordinate transition to PACU
• document care
• and collaborate with surgeons and nursing staff on room turnover.
