What you'll do

• Provide patient care in pre-operative, PACU, and operating-room settings
• conduct pre-op assessments and review medical histories
• prepare patients for surgery
• assist anesthesiologists and surgeons by preparing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment
• monitor patients during procedures and recovery
• manage pain and vital signs
• educate patients and families about pre- and post-operative care
• maintain patient records
• collaborate with the healthcare team.
