The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) — Senior Living role is onsite in Hickory, NC, with pay of $10–$16 per hour. Springs of Catawba supports seniors in safe, comfortable, and vibrant communities. The PCA provides direct resident care, assists with activities of daily living, and promotes residents’ dignity, independence, and safety. The role also observes and reports changes in residents’ condition and encourages social engagement.

What you'll do

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, meals, feeding, hydration, hygiene, and comfort
• observe and report changes in health, behavior, or physical condition
• provide medication reminders and monitor for adverse reactions
• encourage participation in activities
• maintain clean and safe living areas
• follow infection control and safety procedures
• respond to emergencies according to established procedures.
