Network Deployment Technician

Job overview

The Network Deployment Technician role is full-time and onsite in Adkins, TX, with field work and occasional office-based work. Pay is $21–$25 per hour. The technician supports Rise Broadband’s wireless network builds and network operations. The role constructs and maintains telecommunications sites and towers, installs network equipment, and supports provisioning, activation, and troubleshooting. By coordinating with Network Operations and Engineering, the technician helps keep network builds on schedule and service operations running smoothly.

What you'll do

• Perform site and tower construction, including climbing and installing wiring, cabling, and communications equipment
• install wireless and ground equipment
• perform tower modifications, inspections, inventories, and audits
• prepare tools and materials
• inspect and troubleshoot cable and electrical equipment
• provision and activate network equipment
• troubleshoot WAN performance and capacity
• support RF troubleshooting and load balancing
• maintain asset inventory and project logs
• provide remote-hands support
• follow company and OSHA safety policies.
