The Travel Speech-Language Pathologist, Acute Care role is an onsite travel assignment in Mount Olive, NC. Weekly pay is $2,143–$2,290 for 35 guaranteed hours per week. The 13-week assignment starts November 30, 2026, with five daytime shifts, typically 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., in a corrections setting. The clinician evaluates and treats communication and swallowing needs, documents care, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to support patient outcomes and continuity of care in the correctional facility.

What you'll do

• Assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing
• develop and monitor individualized treatment plans
• provide direct therapy to individuals and small groups
• document evaluations, plans, progress, and outcomes
• collaborate with nursing, medical, mental-health, and social-services staff
• follow facility privacy, safety, infection-control, and security policies
• assist with discharge planning and referrals when clinically indicated.
