Maintenance Assistant

The Maintenance Assistant role is onsite in Addison, IL, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pay is $19–$20 per hour, paid weekly. ImageFIRST provides linen rental and laundry services to medical facilities and operates HLAC-accredited facilities. The assistant supports safe, reliable facility operations by helping install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery. The role also includes maintenance logs, parts ordering, material handling, and keeping the work area clean and equipment safely locked out when not in use.

What you'll do

• Assist with machinery installation and preventive and predictive maintenance
• learn and assist with troubleshooting and repairs and PLC programs
• help order tools and parts
• complete maintenance and repair logs
• communicate with operators and management
• maintain a clean work area
• lock out equipment when not in use
• support shipping, receiving, and material handling.

Why this role
