Electrical and Instrumentation Designer

The Electrical and Instrumentation Designer works onsite in Hargrove’s Beaumont, TX office under general supervision. Compensation is not specified. What you'll do

• Apply department design and drafting standards
• identify and communicate project scope, specifications, and design criteria
• produce installation details, motor control center single lines, electrical room layouts, diagrams, cable schedules, control panel layouts, and grounding, lighting, power, and instrumentation plans
• communicate design changes
• provide on-site startup assistance
• guide less experienced drafting personnel
• coordinate with staff and discipline leads
• develop equipment and installation specifications with engineering review and approval.
