Cleaning Technician

Job overview

The Cleaning Technician is an onsite, full-time role based in Grand Rapids, MN, with work between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, at least 40 hours per week, and occasional evenings, weekends, local travel, and out-of-area work. Pay is $18–$20 per hour. SERVPRO of Preferred Fire and Water restores properties affected by fire, water, smoke, mold, or sewage. The technician cleans, restores, and deodorizes affected properties and contents, documents restoration progress, and communicates with clients. The work helps return homes and businesses to usable condition after damage.

What you'll do

• Clean, restore, and deodorize properties and contents affected by fire, water, mold, smoke, or sewage
• take before-and-after photos
• load, inventory, and maintain the work vehicle
• respond to emergency cleanup calls
• assist with room preparation and assessment planning
• communicate with clients
• report job-site safety issues
• learn and apply water-, smoke-, and mold-removal methods and equipment
• assist with light office cleaning when needed.
