Power Plant Operator

What you'll do

• Inspect, adjust, and control power-production auxiliary and facility equipment
• monitor gas and steam turbines
• make repairs when qualified and assist with other repairs
• analyze and control treated water
• take action to prevent environmental excursions
• troubleshoot operational difficulties
• and maintain journals, logs, maintenance and equipment records, and reports.
