The CNC Machinist, First Shift role is onsite in Waupaca, WI, with starting pay of $23–$28 per hour depending on experience. The role supports a family-owned component machining and fabrication shop within a Wisconsin contract manufacturing group. The machinist sets up, programs, and operates CNC equipment to produce precision parts to print. Accurate measurement, documentation, equipment upkeep, and teamwork help the milling department meet production specifications and improve its processes.

What you'll do

• Set tooling and work holding and program at machine controls on mills, lathes, waterjets, and horizontal saws
• interpret shop orders, drawings, and instructions
• inspect parts with precision measuring tools and maintain records
• perform basic machine upkeep
• maintain a clean, safe, organized work area
• participate in department improvement projects.
