Project Superintendent — Commercial Construction

The Project Superintendent — Commercial Construction role is full-time and onsite in Nashville, TN. Compensation is $90,000–$125,000 per year. The superintendent leads commercial construction jobsites for Crain Construction, a Nashville-based general contractor whose mission is to build lasting relationships and structures. The role turns project plans into completed buildings by directing field teams and subcontractors, coordinating safety and quality, and keeping work on schedule and within budget. It partners with project managers and project stakeholders to support successful project delivery.

What you'll do

• Lead jobsite culture and relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and the public
• supervise foremen, crews, and assistant superintendents
• plan construction methods, staffing, materials, equipment, and schedules
• inspect work
• lead safety programs and meetings
• coordinate schedules and construction programs
• review drawings and specifications and flag design or code concerns
• secure permits and coordinate inspections
• maintain project documentation in Procore
• assist with pay applications, requisitions, invoices, and labor time.
