The Line Cook role is onsite in Powell, OH, and compensation is not specified. The full-time shift is 11 a.m.–7 p.m. The cook prepares meals for residents and their guests at StoryPoint’s senior living community. The role helps provide residents, guests, and employees with food prepared to menu and recipe standards, while supporting kitchen readiness, food safety, and a positive dining experience.

What you'll do

• Prepare and cook food for residents, guests, and employees according to menus and standard recipes
• plate items according to portion and garnish guidelines
• maintain adequate prep
• communicate shortages
• check freshness, cooking status, and seasoning
• follow food rotation policies
• clean and stock the station
• inspect kitchen equipment and work areas
• follow sanitation and safety practices
• support resident privacy, dignity, and well-being.

Why this role
