The Inside Sales Representative — Hardware and Building Materials role is onsite in Silvis, IL, and pays $15–$20 per hour. The position supports R.P. Best Value.” The representative helps contractors and homeowners select materials, prepares accurate quotes and orders, and supports sales through in-person, phone, and email interactions. The role also handles register transactions, order follow-up, merchandising, and special orders to support customer service and store operations.

What you'll do

• Help customers and contractors with product selection, pricing, quotes, orders, deliveries, and installations
• follow up on orders and resolve service issues
• build customer relationships
• support Outside Sales with order questions, product information, and pricing
• learn estimating and material takeoffs
• enter orders and pricing in the BisTrack point-of-sale system
• operate and balance the cash register
• research credits, returns, and past-due accounts as assigned
• assist with special orders and credit department tasks when asked.
