What you'll do

• Assist the orthodontist with patient care and procedures
• prepare treatment rooms
• sterilize instruments and follow infection-control protocols
• take dental X-rays, panoramic images, and digital scans as needed
• assist with bonding and debonding braces, placing brackets, and changing archwires as directed
• assist with fitting, adjusting, and removing appliances as permitted by state regulations
• provide chairside assistance.
