What you'll do

• Place and manage purchase orders for production materials and components
• coordinate delivery dates with suppliers as production schedules change
• compare suppliers on price, quality, and lead time
• identify cost-reduction opportunities
• monitor inventory to prevent shortages and excess or obsolete stock
• source, quote, and order custom parts
• maintain purchasing records
• perform inventory counts and reconcile them with the ERP system
• support receiving, shipping, and local part pickups when needed
• improve lean purchasing processes
• coordinate with teams across the business.
