The Behavioral Health Certified Nursing Assistant — Evening Shift role is onsite in Wallingford, CT, on a behavioral health/acute psychiatric unit. Pay is $19–$25 per hour. The position is part-time, 24 hours per week, with every-other-weekend coverage, at Masonicare Health Center’s 50-bed behavioral health hospital unit. The CNA provides basic nursing care under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse, following each patient’s treatment plan. The work supports patients’ daily care needs, safety, and well-being in the behavioral health setting.

What you'll do

• Perform basic nursing care under licensed-nurse supervision
• follow patient treatment plans
• assist with meals and nourishment, transfers, ambulation, bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming using appropriate body mechanics and assistive devices.
