What you'll do

• Lead a two-to-five-person tree crew
• prune treetops and trim or remove damaged trees
• remove broken limbs from utility lines, roofs, and other objects
• apply tree identification knowledge and industry pruning guidelines
• inspect job sites and plan assigned work
• maintain, prepare, and operate chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts, and other equipment
• mentor and train new employees.

Why this role

Line-clearance experience or related tree work and valid driver’s license required. CDL Class A or B with air brake endorsement, or willingness to obtain, preferred. Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation, first aid, CPR, and defensive driving courses must be completed upon hire. Travel up to 25%.
