The Associate Tax Consultant role is hybrid, based at the Fond du Lac, WI office, with up to 50% work from home. Compensation is $57,900–$82,100 per year. Working under the direct mentoring of a Senior Tax Consultant, this role prepares tax returns and estimates, supports tax planning, and provides accounting services to clients. It contributes to accurate client financial reporting, timely tax work, and ongoing client relationships while developing tax and accounting expertise.

What you'll do

• Prepare income tax returns and estimates and research tax planning opportunities under Senior Tax Consultant guidance
• maintain a portfolio of tax clients
• partner on transition meetings and mentor tax interns during tax season
• process accounting transactions and deliver financial statements
• handle less complex accounting accounts, including depreciation and payroll
• assist clients and team members with accounting questions
• participate in client education, visits, and community events
• market and cross-sell products and services
• develop referral relationships.
