The specialist supports purchasing operations by processing orders, maintaining accurate purchase orders, verifying pricing and specifications, and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams. The role helps ensure high-volume purchasing activity is accurate, responsive, and well documented.

What you'll do

• Process and maintain approximately 60–80 purchase orders weekly
• enter orders from customers, Sales, and EDI systems
• create and update purchase orders
• verify pricing, quantities, specifications, and timelines
• use Excel tools to reconcile and analyze purchasing data
• maintain compliance and supplier documentation
• communicate with suppliers and Sales
• support reporting, process improvements, and special projects.
