What you'll do

• Provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in assisted living under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
• Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles.
• Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge.
• Utilize appropriate age and population specific standards.
• Perform testing to evaluate resident status and provide necessary care.
• Recognize problems, recommend solutions, and respond effectively in emergent situations.
• Ensure resident health, comfort, and safety.
• Contribute to resident assessments and administer medications or treatments.
• Provide technical support to healthcare professionals.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality.
• Counsel residents and family members on prevention and treatment plans.
• Develop self-care programs.

What we're looking for

Education

Must have graduated from an accredited school or college of nursing program.

Experience

Must have graduated from an accredited school or college of nursing program. Requires current licensure as a practical nurse in the state/states of practice.
