The Sheetfed Press Operator 2 role is onsite in Laurel, MD. Compensation is $35.29 per hour. RRD provides marketing, packaging, print, and supply-chain solutions; its Mount Vernon Printing operation is a Mid-Atlantic commercial print hub. The operator sets up, adjusts, runs, and maintains press equipment to produce work that meets quality specifications. Make-ready preparation, color corrections, and routine maintenance help ensure reliable commercial printing production.

What you'll do

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain press equipment
• perform make-ready tasks such as hanging plates, checking image positioning, preparing blankets, and adjusting tension and register
• make color corrections and press adjustments before production
• clean, lubricate, and maintain presses
• perform minor repairs and manufacturer-recommended maintenance.
