Radiologic Technologist - Radiology General This is an onsite position in Avon, CT. Compensation is not specified. Manchester Memorial Hospital is part of Hartford HealthCare and serves the Greater Manchester Region. Under the direction of a Workflow Coordinator, performs or assists in radiographic procedures at a level that does not require direct supervision over technical detail.

What you'll do

• Performs all routine radiographic procedures according to department standards, protocols and guidelines required by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and the State of Connecticut.
• Exhibits proficiency in conducting routine radiographic procedures and fluoroscopic exams including gastro-intestinal studies, ERCP’s, Atrthrography, Hysterosalpingography, Urography and portable X Ray equipment including C Arm procedures.
• Provides proper clinical patient care while performing diagnostic procedures.
• Provides careful critique and assessment over the image quality.
• Exhibits accuracy in computer documentation.
• Mentors students in the clinical and ethical aspects of the Radiologic Technologist profession.
• Maintains stock levels and personal protection equipment of assigned stations.
• Exhibits constant awareness of infection control standards.
• Works cooperatively to accomplish a task as a member of the team.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as may be required.

What we're looking for

Education

High School diploma or GED equivalent

Experience

Must be fully knowledgeable and capable of performing independently in at least two modalities.
