The Laboratory Assistant, Microbiology role is onsite at Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, CA. Compensation is $31.28–$39.46 per hour. The position supports the medical center’s microbiology laboratory and patient-focused care. Under the general supervision of the Phlebotomy Supervisor and Laboratory Manager, the assistant performs specimen collection and processing, data entry, new employee orientation and training, special projects, and general laboratory duties. This is a part-time position with 8-hour evening shifts; a California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I or II license and three years of clinical laboratory assistant experience are required.
