Home Care Aide

Job overview

The Home Care Aide role is an onsite position serving patients in their homes in West End, NC. Compensation is $10–$13 per hour. The aide provides one-on-one care according to patient care plans for FRESH START-NEW BEGINNINGS Home Care. The role supports patients’ daily needs and safety while helping maintain a healthy home environment. It assists with mobility and personal care, records and reports observations, provides medication reminders, and builds supportive relationships with patients.

What you'll do

• Assist patients with moving between beds, baths, wheelchairs, and automobiles
• change bed linens, do laundry, clean the home, and assist with personal care
• maintain care records and report observations to a supervisor
• converse with or read aloud to patients
• provide medication reminders
• ensure client safety.
