Medical Assistant — Vascular Care

The Medical Assistant — Vascular Care role is onsite in Sacramento, CA, with pay of $20–$30 per hour. TLC Vascular provides outpatient care for peripheral arterial disease, venous insufficiency, and other vascular conditions. The assistant supports vascular providers and clinical staff with patient care and administrative tasks, helping deliver efficient services and a positive patient experience. Duties span patient intake, procedure preparation, documentation, scheduling, and clinic safety and compliance.

What you'll do

• Greet and room patients
• document vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints
• prepare patients for vascular procedures and diagnostic testing
• assist physicians with in-office procedures and post-procedure care
• perform EKGs, collect blood samples and specimens as needed
• maintain EHR records and supplies
• schedule appointments, obtain prior authorizations, verify insurance, handle calls and messages, and support patient education
• follow HIPAA, OSHA, infection-control, and cleaning procedures.
