Corrosion Technician

Job overview

The Corrosion Technician role is onsite in Pasadena, TX, with field work and frequent travel to remote sites. Compensation is $22–$30 per hour. Nexus Integrity Management provides pipeline integrity and corrosion protection services, including cathodic protection, pipeline maintenance, and compliance solutions. The role monitors and maintains corrosion control systems to help protect pipelines, tanks, and other infrastructure from degradation. Through inspections, testing, data analysis, and compliance work, it supports pipeline integrity and infrastructure safety.

What you'll do

• Install, monitor, and maintain cathodic protection systems
• inspect pipelines and facilities for corrosion and coating deterioration
• perform close-interval and DCVG surveys and other diagnostic testing
• record and analyze corrosion data, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions
• assist with corrosion control programs and chemical treatment monitoring
• calibrate and maintain monitoring equipment
• ensure compliance with applicable codes and company policies
• support pipeline integrity management and risk assessment
• collaborate with engineers, field personnel, and contractors.

Why this role
