The Mortgage Loan Officer role is onsite in Bryan, OH. Compensation is $45,000–$60,000 plus incentive opportunity. The role supports the Coley Rau Team at CrossCountry Mortgage, a full-service mortgage team serving families across the nation. The officer consults with borrowers, structures loan scenarios, and guides clients through the mortgage process from initial consultation through application. The role helps the team secure approvals and deliver timely, clear service to borrowers and referral partners.

What you'll do

• Handle inbound mortgage leads and referrals
• consult with borrowers about mortgage options and financial goals
• structure loan scenarios and approval strategies
• review borrower documents and credit reports
• run automated underwriting findings
• manage pre-approvals
• guide borrowers through the application process
• coordinate with realtors, processors, and internal teams
• maintain CRM and pipeline records
• resolve complex approval challenges.

Why this role

Requires an active NMLS license, prior mortgage origination experience, and experience with Encompass LOS. Some evening and weekend coverage is expected; the stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch.
