The Medical Assistant role is onsite in Barrington, IL, with pay of $18–$24 per hour. The medical assistant supports providers and patients by preparing exam rooms, assisting with examinations and procedures, documenting visits, handling specimens and patient communications, and maintaining infection-control and privacy standards.

What you'll do

• Assist providers with patient care
• escort and prepare patients for exams
• review health histories
• maintain patient flow
• prepare procedure rooms, instruments, and specimens
• document visits in the electronic medical record
• respond to patient questions and calls
• schedule procedures and referrals
• maintain supplies and equipment
• follow OSHA and HIPAA requirements.

Why this role
