Prototype Design Specialist

What you'll do

• Build physical prototypes, models, and mockups from design concepts, CAD, and artwork
• operate and support 2D and 3D printing and fabrication processes
• perform hand fabrication, assembly, finishing, painting, and color matching
• support thermoforming and casting as required
• interpret CAD files and drawings
• operate, troubleshoot, and maintain prototyping equipment
• support equipment setup, calibration, safety, and workshop organization
• coordinate with vendors and project teams.

Why this role

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Engineering, or a related technical discipline and 2–5+ years of relevant experience are requested. Experience with workshop tools, woodworking, machining, thermoforming, casting, painting, and finishing is a plus.
