The Music Therapist role is onsite in Wayne, NJ, with a Sunday-through-Thursday schedule from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Compensation is $22 per hour. The role supports residents through the community’s Lifestyle and Programming Department. The position develops and leads activities, encourages resident participation, and helps residents maintain interests and social connections. It also supports activity communications and planning, reports on program participation and outcomes, and assists other departments as assigned.

What you'll do

• Help develop activities in specialty areas and encourage resident involvement
• lead planned activities independently
• engage residents in small groups or one-on-one programs
• maintain knowledge of residents’ interests and backgrounds
• prepare and distribute calendars, newsletters, and memos
• report activity outcomes and participation to the Lifestyle Director
• attend relevant in-services and seminars
• assist in dining areas as needed.
