Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor — Weekend Coverage

The Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor — Weekend Coverage role is onsite in Delano, CA, paying $45–$50 per hour. Valley View Care Center is seeking a nurse supervisor for weekend coverage and welcomes new graduates as well as experienced nurses. The RN follows established procedures for charting, incident reporting, medication controls, and restraint reduction, while documenting changes in patient condition and coordinating with relevant departments. The role also uses the Quality Life Manual to support appropriate patient placement and monitoring and makes physician rounds when needed.

What you'll do

• Follow procedures for charting and incident reporting, narcotic counts, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction
• document changes in patient condition
• use the Quality Life Manual to identify, place, and monitor patients in appropriate programs
• notify departments about room changes, leaves of absence, admissions, and discharges
• make rounds with physicians when necessary.
