What you'll do

• Develop and implement nursing policies with the Director of Nursing
• communicate policies and monitor staff practices
• conduct nursing-unit rounds
• review daily 24-hour reports and follow up on resident-care issues
• review nursing schedules
• participate in recruitment
• oversee infection control and safety programs
• participate in quality assurance, audits, survey preparedness, and corrective action planning
• support CNA certification and student oversight.
