The Mobile Field Technician – Heavy-Duty Fleet role is based in the Evansville, IN area, with service to customer locations generally within an approximately 50–60-mile radius of home. Compensation is stated as $32–$45+ per hour, based on experience and performance. National Fleet Management provides mobile maintenance and repair services for commercial fleet customers. Working from a company-provided service truck, the technician diagnoses and repairs heavy-duty trucks at customer sites. The role supports fleet customers by completing preventive maintenance and repairs, documenting work, maintaining truck inventory, and managing jobs from diagnosis through completion.

What you'll do

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns on heavy-duty trucks
• perform preventive maintenance and inspections
• repair brake, suspension, steering, electrical, air, hydraulic, fuel, and engine systems
• troubleshoot and determine repair solutions
• document repairs accurately
• maintain an organized service truck and parts inventory
• communicate professionally with customers
• take ownership of jobs from diagnosis through completion.

Why this role

Local mobile territory is generally within approximately 50–60 miles of home. CDL and previous mobile service experience are a plus but not required. A 90-day pay guarantee may be offered to new technicians subject to accepted offer terms.
