IT Help Desk Technician – West Coast Hours

Job overview

The IT Help Desk Technician – West Coast Hours role provides remote support to firm employees nationwide. The schedule is either 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Western Time. Compensation is stated as $25–$35 per hour. Tyson & Mendes is a civil defense law firm. The technician troubleshoots end-user, hardware, software, and network issues across local and remote locations. The role helps employees use firm systems effectively by resolving incidents, guiding users, maintaining equipment, and documenting fixes.

What you'll do

• Administer Windows workstations and support end users
• analyze and resolve network hardware and software failures
• support Microsoft 365, WAN/LAN, remote computing, and document management systems
• orient users to software and equipment
• maintain desktop hardware and peripherals
• troubleshoot issues locally and remotely
• document repairs and fixes in ZenDesk.
