The CARES Clinician — Community-Based Youth Services role is community-based in Seaford, DE, with an office location in Lewes, Dover, and Wilmington. Compensation is $18–$50 per hour. The clinician supports Delaware Guidance Services’ work providing behavioral health services to children and families. The clinician screens and assesses youth and families experiencing high-intensity psychological and emotional challenges, provides intensive therapeutic interventions, and documents cases from intake through discharge. The role helps stabilize clients and bridge them to other intensive services, typically over approximately 90 days.

What you'll do

• Screen and assess youth and families
• develop safety plans and treatment goals
• provide solution-focused, trauma-informed interventions
• assess suicide and harm risks
• coordinate with families, stakeholders, and the DPBHS team
• maintain accurate case documentation and support stabilization and transition to other services.
