The purpose of this role is to lead supplier quality activities across multiple programs, ensuring compliance with requirements, managing risks, and driving continuous improvement in supplier performance for aerospace and defense manufacturing.

What you'll do

• Lead supplier quality activities across multiple concurrent programs and projects.
• Prioritize and coordinate supplier quality initiatives.
• Provide cross-program visibility into supplier performance, quality risks, and corrective actions.
• Apply lessons learned and industry best practices.
• Serve as a liaison between suppliers, customers, government representatives, and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct on-site supplier audits, assessments, and readiness reviews.
• Perform investigations and root cause analyses of supplier quality issues.
• Develop and maintain supplier performance metrics.
• Participate in supplier selection and qualification activities.
• Review supplier manufacturing processes and collaborate on improvements.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Program teams to monitor supplier quality performance.
• Review supplier inspection and test documentation.
• Monitor industry and supply chain developments.
• Partner with other Supplier Quality Engineers to develop organizational knowledge and standardize processes.
• Collaborate with SMEs to evaluate supplier process capabilities.
