What you'll do

• Feed animals as directed and record appetite, water intake, and elimination
• monitor pets for unusual conditions, abnormal behavior, distress, or disease and report concerns
• assist veterinarians and technicians with restraint
• clean and sanitize cages, runs, wards, equipment, and facilities
• complete scheduled chores
• maintain laundry and fresh bedding
• walk patients according to schedule
• communicate services and health recommendations to clients
• handle difficult or aggressive patients safely.
