Assistant Baker

The Assistant Baker role is onsite in McAllen, TX, with a Monday–Friday schedule and availability required between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. Compensation is $11 per hour. Nothing Bundt Cakes produces cakes in a variety of flavors and sizes for its guests. The assistant baker supports the baker in producing consistent, high-quality cakes and meeting production demands. Following recipes, production methods, and food-safety standards helps maintain product quality and an efficient baking workflow.

What you'll do

• Follow proprietary recipes and cake production methods
• use measuring instruments, commercial mixers, ovens, and other tools
• prepare ingredients and equipment
• place pans in ovens and monitor baking
• assist with daily production flow
• package, label, and store cakes
• maintain product rotation and baking and refrigeration logs
• clean, sanitize, and restock the workstation.
