What you'll do

• Produce CT scans of optimal diagnostic quality on patients of all age groups.
• Follow established scanning and viewing protocols.
• Operate CT scanner and related equipment efficiently.
• Complete quality scans in a timely manner, organizing workflow to meet demands.
• Demonstrate proficiency in scanning trauma, acute, and challenging patients.
• Modify positioning and scanning factors when standard methods cannot be performed.
• Demonstrate knowledge of disease processes and produce studies that optimally identify related anatomy.
• Solicit patient cooperation by providing education about the procedure.
• Demonstrate competence in using the power injector.
• Complete required documentation.
• Assist the Radiologist during invasive procedures.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate of an America Medical Association approved program in Radiologic Technology

Experience

1 year of experience performing CT procedures is preferred
