What you'll do

• Clean racks before inspection or repair
• prepare surfaces and perform paint touch-ups
• install labels and markings
• perform basic tack welding and simple weld beads
• drill holes and make basic cuts
• replace simple rack components
• identify common metal materials
• document repairs in service records and work logs
• maintain tools and work areas
• follow safety procedures and use PPE
• and assist higher-level technicians as needed.
