The role exists to help patients with neurological and complex orthopedic diagnoses work toward functional goals through individualized recreation-based treatment. The therapist evaluates patients, plans and coordinates activities and leisure education, monitors progress, and supports transitions into home and community settings.

What you'll do

• Evaluate, treat, and educate neuro-rehabilitation patients
• plan, organize, and coordinate recreation activities, functional leisure skills, and leisure education
• assess capabilities, interests, and barriers
• monitor progress and recommend program changes as needed
• perform home assessments
• assist patients with transitions to home and community.
