What you'll do

• Administers nuclear imaging procedures, calculates and administers radiopharmaceuticals, performs quality nuclear medicine imaging examinations, carries out hot lab duties, operates cameras and equipment, processes and sends data, understands theories and principles behind equipment and tests, prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals, employs radiation-detecting equipment, implements radiation safety standards, monitors patient condition, collects and analyzes data, provides quality images for diagnosis, may perform PETCT scans, works with unique client populations, demonstrates teamwork, professionalism, and confidentiality, is open to change and technology advancements.

What we're looking for

Education

Must have completed an educational program and clinical experience accepted by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or completed a formal AMA accredited Nuclear Medicine program and be certified by the CNMT or NMTBC.

Experience

One year experience as a staff radiologic technologist; if graduate of a formal Nuclear Medicine program, no experience is required.
