Swim Instructor

Job overview

The Swim Instructor role is onsite in Montgomery, AL, with pay of $13 per hour. The instructor reports to the Deck Supervisor and teaches using the Goldfish Swim School curriculum. The role exists to teach water safety and swimming skills while helping students progress in a safe, supportive pool environment. It also supports student communication with parents or guardians and helps maintain pool and equipment readiness.

What you'll do

• Teach swim skills and water safety using the school curriculum
• enforce safety rules and perform rescues or first aid when necessary
• evaluate student progress and complete paperwork
• communicate with parents or guardians
• inspect pool areas and report issues
• maintain and store equipment
• document incidents
• attend required workshops and training
• perform light cleaning as needed.

Why this role
