Compensation is $25–$29 per hour. The Pastry Chef role is onsite in Cameron Park, CA. Starting pay is negotiable depending on experience, and the position is tipped based on food sales; numeric Millhouse by Moonraker Brewing Co. is building pastry and bakery offerings for its coffee service and taproom dessert menu. The chef leads and supports pastry and bakery production, maintaining a consistent, high-quality offering across daily service, seasonal specials, and catering. The role works with the Executive Chef and back-of-house leadership to develop and evolve the program.

What you'll do

• Lead and execute pastry and baked-goods production for coffee and taproom service
• maintain a bakery program including pastries, breakfast items, and breads
• produce plated and grab-and-go desserts
• collaborate on seasonal menus, specials, and catering desserts
• manage prep schedules, production timelines, par levels, inventory, ordering, and product rotation
• maintain food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and organization
• follow recipes and assist with broader kitchen operations as needed. Guest interaction during service or special events is occasional.
