Boiler Technician

The Boiler Technician is a full-time, onsite role in Guaynabo, PR. Compensation is not specified. The technician reports to a Service Manager or Supervisor and supports boiler and steam-system service work. The role exists to keep commercial steam and hot-water boilers and related equipment operating safely and reliably. Through troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repairs, installations, documentation, and code compliance, the technician supports customer service needs and project requirements.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot, maintain, inspect, and repair commercial steam and hot-water boilers and auxiliary equipment
• diagnose system faults using technical documents
• document service work
• perform preventive maintenance
• assist with boiler and burner installation and startup
• maintain boiler and water-heater controls
• coordinate service priorities and schedules
• follow applicable codes and safety practices
• and respond to emergency calls during and after hours.
