Adjunct Communications Faculty

The Adjunct Communications Faculty role is onsite in Smyrna, Tennessee, with assignments at any Motlow State campus and area high schools as assigned. Pay is $500–$700 per credit hour. Motlow State Community College serves students across eleven counties in middle Tennessee. The faculty member provides effective communications instruction, evaluates student performance against course standards, and offers academic support and guidance. The position contributes to student learning and college curricular and co-curricular activities.

What you'll do

• Teach assigned courses according to catalog descriptions and approved syllabi
• teach dual-enrollment classes at area high schools as assigned
• travel to multiple campuses as assigned
• collaborate with faculty and academic leadership on curricular and program needs
• support students and college activities
• teach up to 12 credit hours per semester as assigned
• communicate with students, attend occasional meetings or instructional activities, respond to the Dean, and submit required paperwork.

Why this role
